Date: 1953

Barbara Lea (ldr), Lindsay McPhail (dir), Barbara Lea (v), The March Hares (bkv)

a.Orange Suspenders - 2:22  (Lindsay McPhail, Carl Anderson)
b.Baby - 1:58  (Lindsay McPhail, Frank M. Mende)
Both titles on: -     Cardill Records 45: 5300 (1953)

This recording for Cardhill Records in Torrington, CT, was made by Barbara under the name of Midge Barber because at the time she didn't want her name associated with the project. It is believed that the stock of 45s was destroyed during a hurricane in 1954. Barbara doesn't remember being in the studio with The March Hares so it is possible the back up vocals were added later. Information about this recording is sketchy.
