Remastered from matrix B-13149-A at an unknown date for prospective issue on V-Disc but in fact never issued.
Almost all of the V-Discs issued under Bing's name were taken from radio broadcasts, whilst a few were dubbed from commercial studio recordings. In the sections covering radio broadcasts and studio recordings I note the mastering of tracks for release as V-Discs, but repeat the listing here. Some of the discs had additional introductory material dubbed by Bing, which, where it exists is informal, along the lines of "Hi fellas, we thought you might like what we have thrown together for you on this V-Disc". Sometimes the introduction is by others.
On the account of the introduction the V Disc may differ from the original.
Tracks from differing broadcasts were sometimes placed together on the same disc, which unusually for records of the time, were frequently banded with two or three tracks per side. Different artists appeared on the same disc in many instances. The "A" or "B" suffix frequently quoted denotes the side of the disc, so that 337-A and 337-B are two sides of the same original disc
Mastering dates have been assumed based on extrapolation from known issue dates and numbering sequences.

There are doubts about the origins oif this recording and the accompaniment.
The version on the CD set "COLLECTORS' CHOICE (US) CD: 6 17742 66512 3 — BING CROSBY - V DISC" is identical to the KMH broadcast of 6 July 1944 with John Scott Trotter and is certainly incorrect in drawing on that.
